GNOSIS - Olympus Edition
GNOSIS is the annual STEM event at my college, featuring competitions and activities that celebrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As Event Head, I oversaw the entire event while also leading its brand identity design and social media presence, including the viral reels that drove engagement.
Year :
2024
Industry :
Event
Client :
Beaconhouse College Programme - Lahore, Pakistan
Project Duration :
4 weeks

Problem :
Previous editions of GNOSIS struggled with low visibility and weak branding. Despite being academically valuable, the event lacked a modern identity and failed to generate strong excitement among students. Without engaging promotion and clear design direction, it risked low turnout and limited recognition.

Solution :
I led the event’s overall organization, from planning and team management to execution on the day. Simultaneously, I designed the brand identity (logo, colors, typography, and visual system) and created a social media content strategy. By producing viral reels that blended humor, trends, and STEM-related themes, I was able to make GNOSIS highly visible online. This combination of leadership, design, and content creation ensured the event was both well-executed and widely recognized.

Challenge :
As Event Head, I faced the dual challenge of:
Managing the event execution — coordinating teams, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the academic credibility of the competitions.
Redefining the event’s image — building a consistent visual identity and digital strategy that would attract students and boost participation, while keeping the STEM focus intact.
Summary :
Under my leadership, GNOSIS evolved from a low-profile academic event into a modern, well-branded, and widely discussed STEM festival. The event ran smoothly, attracted strong student participation, and gained significant traction online thanks to the viral reels and cohesive design system. This project highlighted my ability to balance event management with creative direction, ensuring both operational success and strong branding.
