EDA Restaurant
EDA is a Turkish fine dining restaurant based in Glasgow, specializing in grilled meats, meze, and authentic Turkish cuisine. They approached me for a logo redesign and menu revamp to create a more professional and modern brand identity that matched the quality of their dining experience.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Fine Dining
Client :
EDA Restaurant - Glasgow, Scotland
Project Duration :
6 weeks

Problem :
EDA’s existing logo and menu design felt outdated, cluttered, and inconsistent with the restaurant’s fine dining positioning. The menu had spelling errors, lacked proper categorization, and didn’t visually highlight the richness of Turkish cuisine. This created a disconnect between the premium dining experience they offered and the visual identity they presented to customers.

Solution :
I redesigned the EDA logo to be cleaner, more professional, and better suited for digital and print applications. For the menu, I restructured the layout with clear headings (Starters, Main Courses, Meze, etc.), corrected spellings, and added proper spacing to accommodate food imagery. The color scheme was kept consistent with EDA’s brand identity, ensuring harmony with the restaurant’s existing aesthetic. The result was a sleek, well-organized, and modernized menu and logo that reflected the restaurant’s fine dining quality while maintaining cultural authenticity.

Challenge :
The challenge was to redesign the menu and logo while keeping the original color palette and essence of the brand intact. Since EDA already had an established look, the new designs had to feel refined yet familiar — balancing tradition with modern aesthetics. Additionally, the menu needed to be functional: clear categories, corrected spellings, proper spacing for food photography, and easy readability, while still looking premium and aligned with the restaurant’s Turkish identity.
Summary :
Through the logo and menu redesign, I helped EDA elevate its brand identity to match the premium dining experience it provides. The updated visuals gave the restaurant a more professional and polished presence, ensuring that customers’ first impressions aligned with the quality of food and service. This project not only modernized EDA’s branding but also created a design system that can scale across their marketing materials, both online and offline.
